7. Are these safe procedures, and will I be able to have children in the future?
An abortion is 7 times safer and physically less traumatizing to your body than a normal full-term delivery. This procedure is much like a D&C (dilation and curettage without a pregnancy), that is performed also for women who have trouble becoming pregnant. It creates a fresh lining to the uterus, which may cause implantation to be more likely, immediately after this procedure.
